Fratelli Guzzini is a benchmark in Italian “savoir faire” for the home, a fine blend of know-how, technology and design. We have a history that reaches back more than 110 years and, once pioneers in the use of plastic for everyday articles, we have now entered a new phase, embracing latest-generation materials developed to be environmentally sustainability, sourced from recycling processes that protect natural resources.
RECYCLED AND BIO-BASED MATERIALS.
With the Guzzini Circle programme, we have introduced articles made from post-consumer recycled plastic and bio-based plastics derived from plant biomass waste. The bio-based content is assigned using the ISCC (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification) mass balance approach.
100% RECYCLABLE MATERIALS.
We have always produced durable items from recyclable plastic, and now they also contain high percentages of recycled or bio-based material.
DURABLE PRODUCTS.
Our products prioritise durability, reuse and virtuous production cycles in terms of renewable energy and minimal consumption of natural material.
SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION AND ENERGY IMPACT.
By applying circular economy principles we have reduced waste almost to the point of eliminating it, making the Guzzini plant at Recanati a high-efficiency complex and covering part of energy consumption with renewable power.

We are rooted in our origins and the landscapes and culture we were born in. Our production plant is at Recanati, and it is here that we conduct research into functions and design, and innovative trials,carefully combining different materials to create lovely, durable, sustainable product.

A genuine undertaking, added to our company bylaws, because we are convinced that generating social value is just as important as achieving economic results. We have always defended these principles, so we have acted to ensure that the social and environmental goals we set are complied with as part of a strategic plan for sustainability, with targeted projects and activities, monitored and reported every year in an Impact Report to audit the results achieved.
The goals we have set ourselves range from reducing our products’ lifecycle environmental footprint with the aid of innovative circular economy solutions that encourage the responsible use of resources, to promoting the intrinsic values of Italian manufacturing by creating attractive, functional, durable products.
